Marwa has an extensive experience working in both sell-side and buy-side of several global organizations within a spectrum of industries ranging from banking, retail, textile and high-tech within Egypt, Libya, Jordan, Syria and India. Prior to joining Tejari, she has delivered successful transformational programs in procurement and sourcing and contracts life cycle management in Egypt. Marwa was assigned to build up a procurement department from scratch consolidating both direct and indirect spend areas to ensure governance and provide savings where she has championed technology implementation, ensured a fast track implementation within a 4-month period achieving 96% technology adoption.
Based in Dubai, currently, Marwa leads several implementation initiatives for clients across MENA region for increasing procurement efficiency, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), and enhancing overall procurement value through technology adoption and business process re-engineering.
Being very passionate about the supply chain domain, Marwa earned her master’s degree in International logistics and Transport from Arab Academy of maritime and transport. She is also an accredited APICS instructor, teaching procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management and to add to her accreditation, Marwa is also CSCP, SCOR-P, CIPM, CICCM, CISCM, and CMILT certified.
