I find it interesting that companies have strategic plans, integrated business plans and short and long-term plans; however many of the actions and performance measures are not tied to these plans.
A company can have the best laid plans, however achieves results that are marginal at best because the actions and performance measures are not tied to the plans. And, in many cases, change management aspects are not even considered as the plans are developed. Is it any wonder that change, action and performance does not measure up?
